Our Philosophy

The Umbrella Housing Service is built on the belief that housing is more than shelter – it’s the foundation for safety, healing, and growth.

We support women  born a girl and living as a woman, aged 18 and over, including survivors of coercive control, emotional abuse, and gender-based violence.

Our feminist and trauma-informed approach recognises abuse as a systemic issue tied to inequality and power, not personal failure.
